Can you drive without a license in an emergency?

It's possible that you have had your license revoked as a result of collecting multiple traffic violation convictions. You might have been convicted of a serious traffic violation that left the court with no choice but to revoke your license.

The problem is that you needed to get somewhere in an emergency. Taking away your license, in your mind, doesn't make you a bad driver. It just means you're not allowed to drive by law. In an emergency, the fear of repercussions may be the last thing on your mind, but if you are caught driving without a license, you could face significant penalties.

What should you do if you violated a traffic law, ended up with a revoked license and then drove against the law?

If you have no license, you can't drive anywhere for any reason, or you could face penalties. There are other options, such as calling a ride-sharing service or taxi. You can use buses or other transportation services. If you choose not to, then you can be held liable.

In an emergency, it's best to call 911 or allow someone who has a license to drive. However, if there is no choice, then it's possible that you could be making the best choice you can. Your attorney will talk to you about your case and why you believe you had no other choice but to drive despite your license being revoked. If there is enough evidence that you had no other choice, then it may be possible to have charges against you reduced or eliminated completely.
